Performing for over 15 years in the tri-state area, Paul earned a BFA degree in Acting in the spring of 2005 from Montclair State University. Having had many unique and fulfilling experiences there (including master classes with Whoopi Goldberg and Olympia Dukakis), he started bouncing around different theatres in the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, including TheatreFest (Proof, with Heather Tom), 12 Miles West (Happy Hour, World Premiere), Premiere Stages, Playwright's Theatre of NJ, Luna Stage, Running Rabbit Family Theatre, and The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ (Richard III, Pride & Prejudice).
In New York, he's studied Clown and Commedia under Chris Bayes, and has had the good fortune to train and work with John Basil at the American Globe Theatre. Other projects have included work with Broken Watch Theatre Co., HERE Arts Center, the City Attic Theatre, and TSI Playtime.
He recently returned to the Northeast after spending a year on the road with the American Shakespeare Center's 07/08 Piercing Eloquence Tour, where he was part of an 11 actor troupe performing Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, Henry V, and A Christmas Carol, in repertory.
His work can also be seen in the recently released indie film, Cult of Sincerity, produced by Plywood Pictures.
Outside of acting, Paul is a budding playwright/director, having helped create and produce several theatre pieces including Tube, Right is Right, and Mad Lad, his first full-length play. He also teaches theatre for high school age students, as part of a rotating faculty with the Broadway Theatre Workshop in Montvale, NJ.
He is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association, the professional union for stage actors.
